Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples.

What to expect

Our Welcome Team

Our goal is to display the love of Christ by welcoming others as Christ has welcomed us! (Romans 15:7)

When you pull into our parking area, our friendly parking ambassadors will offer our first welcome and direct you to the auditorium. There, our greeters will guide you and answer any questions that you have. If you have children from birth through sixth grade, we invite you to check them in at our children’s ministry table.

As you enter the worship area in the auditorium, our ushers will welcome you, provide a bulletin for you, and direct you to your seat. We invite you to engage in Christ-centered worship and an application-filled study of God’s Word with us.

Service Format

Our desire is first to magnify Christ and promote a high view of God in our worship and church life.

Generally speaking, our service begins with worship. Most people stand during this time, however, there is complete freedom to be seated if you prefer.

The Christ-honoring words of all our worship songs are projected onto a screen at the front of the sanctuary.  Each song is carefully selected in order to engage both the mind and heart in worship.

Like most churches we receive tithes and offerings during our service. If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. This is chiefly intended for our regular attendees who consider Harvest their church home.

We do ask that as our guest you take a few moments to complete our Friendship Register which is passed through each row. The Friendship Register is used to help us get to know you a bit. It is a place where you can request information, ask for prayer, let us know your thoughts, or just indicate your presence with us. Some basic contact information allows us to send you a personal letter of welcome.

You won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand just because you’re new. Nor will you have to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.

A highlight of our time of worship is the expository preaching of God’s Word. We believe that central to true and profound worship is an accurate and profound understanding of God’s Word.

Our pastor takes care to thoroughly study God’s Word to unleash its transforming power in people’s lives week after week.

What to wear

At Harvest Bible Chapel, we focus on the heart more than the outward appearance. When you come to one of our weekend services, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts, to as formal as suits and dresses. However, most people find themselves somewhere in the middle–wearing business casual.

We do ask that people wear clothing that does not draw attention to themselves. We think that what you wear to church should not detract from the worship experience of others around you. We want all of the attention to go to Jesus Christ.
