ONLINE Sundays at 11 AM | Facebook.com/HarvestFresno
Harvest Fresno is a non-denominational and ethnically diverse Bible church.
We exist to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission Jesus gave to His followers: Make disciples.
We endeavor to do this in the spirit of the Great Commandment, loving God and loving others.
What to expect
Welcome!
We invite you to join us in person on Sundays at 11am.
PHYSICAL MEETINGS
We are currently meeting at 3620 N. Millbrook, Fresno CA 93726
Our physical meetings are carefully compliant with current health standards. Currently, we leave any masking decisions up to the individual.
Dress
Dress is generally comfortable. Many will be wearing jeans, though some may dress closer to business casual.
Music
We sing 2-3 worship songs to open our service and one to close. Our selections include updated hymns and contemporary worship songs. The lyrics are made available on screen, so all may sing along.
Teaching
After the singing, our pastor or guest speaker will share a message from Scripture. We believe that central to true and profound worship is an accurate and profound understanding of God’s Word. The common method of teaching is expository preaching, moving chapter and verse through God’s Word. Sermons (video and audio) are available here.
Prayer
We pray several times throughout the service, recognizing God’s role in uniting His people and capturing our hearts.
Children
We are currently offering a Children’s Class but it is only for children who are potty trained in this COVID time. We do provide tables for families, which makes it easier for kids to color, use devices, or even take notes if they’re older.
Harvest COVID-Mask Wearing Policy
The COVID-19 virus created numerous challenges and heartaches for many people throughout the world. We also realize that there are many views concerning the issues of protecting the population from the risk of spreading the virus.
Our church’s policies governing the wearing of masks and social distance protocols have been governed by the biblical principles: “Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:10) and “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Phil 2:3-4). Accordingly, leadership at Harvest has generally followed State and County guidelines to maximize the protection of the flock and create a safe environment for worship.
The good news is that more people have been vaccinated or have antibodies due to contracting COVID, so more people are protected and cases are going down. As we recently announced, mask wearing at church is now optional. Even though churches are exempt from the government’s guidelines, we still desire those who are “at risk” or unvaccinated and uninfected by COVID, in the spirit of love, take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others.
Thank you for your cooperation!
ONLINE GATHERINGS
We provide a weekly service online at our Facebook page. This service mirrors what we provide in person on Saturday afternoons. You can join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM, with an opportunity to worship from home and connect with others during the live chat.
Our services are also posted to our YouTube channel for viewing at a convenient time for you.
COMING SOON, LORD WILLING
It is our sincere hope to return to our long-time Sunday morning physical gatherings as soon as possible. We’re keeping our eyes open for the best options available to us, including Kastner Intermediate School, where we met from Spring 2011 until COVID.
